The Pemberton in Sheung Wan is set for conversion into living accommodation after Singapore-based real estate investment manager Shorea Capital won the tender for the property.
The 24-storey property occupies a site of about 3,817 sq ft and has a total gross floor area of approximately 58,000 sq ft.
It comprises five levels of commercial space in the basement, upper ground floor, and first to third floors, with office space from the fourth floor upwards.
The building, completed in 1990, has a 999-year leasehold tenure.
Shorea Capital plans to submit applications to convert the building at 22–26 Bonham Strand, marking its first entry into Hong Kong’s living sector.
Colliers International acted as lead agent and broker for the transaction.
