Causeway Bay retail unit listed for $150m, CBRE says

The fully leased Jaffe Road shop is offered via private treaty sale with long-term tenant.

The sale of Shops Nos. 2, 2A and 3 on the ground floor at Malahon Apartments in Causeway Bay is up for sale, sole agent CBRE said.

In a media statement, CBRE said the property, located at 501–515 Jaffe Road, is being offered for sale via private treaty on an “as-is” basis with existing tenancy.

The indicative price is $150m, or about $15,000 per square foot (sq ft).

The space spans about 10,000 sq ft and is fully leased to supermarket chain Wellcome, which has occupied the premises since 1990.

The property has about 30 feet of street frontage along Jaffe Road and is located within a two-minute walk of Causeway Bay MTR Station and SOGO Department Store.

Frederick Lai, senior director of capital markets at CBRE Hong Kong, cited official data on retail performance.

“According to the Census and Statistics Department, Hong Kong’s retail sales value in February 2026 rose 5.5% year-on-year to about $35b,” he said.

He added that retail leasing volume in 2025 reached 1.1 million sq. ft.
