15 building plans approved in May

Apartment developments dominated last month’s construction plans.

The Buildings Department approved a total of 15 building plans in May, according to a government release.

Eight were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, three for commercial developments, two for factory and industrial developments, and two for community services developments.

In terms of location, five were located in Hong Kong Island, six in Kowloon and four in the New Territories.

The declared cost of new buildings completed in May was $9.4b.
