GrowthOps takes home two wins at Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2025

The company bagged the Digital - Financial Technology and the AI - Financial Technology categories.

Digital transformation and AI solutions provider GrowthOps (by Applied AI) clinched two major wins at the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2025 for its development of a Central Payment Hub for a global bank, which has driven payment modernisation and cross-border capabilities, as well as its agentic artificial intelligence (AI) empowered workflow automation platform Opus, which has helped organisations transformed their workflows to reduce costs and improve operational flexibility.

The development of the Central Payment Hub introduces a Smart Data Mapping Engine that dynamically converts legacy data to ISO 20022 complied formats, ensuring minimal data loss and compatibility with non-ISO systems. This capability has achieved a 95% legacy-to-ISO conversion with zero truncation across 10+ non-ISO systems.

At the same time, it has enhanced Anti-Money Laundering (AML) /Know Your Customer (KYC) monitoring using enriched data to meet global regulatory standards. It also offers an integrated Application Programming Interface (API) Portal for automated reconciliation that reduces processing time by 40% and eliminates 30% of manual tasks.

The upgraded infrastructure is poised to enable fintech collaboration, expanding the API portal to support third-party payment solutions and tapping into open banking trends. It also aims to adapt the Smart Data Mapping Engine for emerging markets with mixed ISO adoption, enabling expansion in the APAC region.

Central Payment Hub brought GrowthOps the accolade in the Digital - Financial Technology category for this scalable solution.

Meanwhile, its agentic AI empowered workflow automation platform Opus, which earned the company the win in the AI - Financial Technology category, operates through an agentic AI-driven workflows automation and a network of human experts who ensure quality and accuracy. The solely invented state-of-the-art Large Work Model (LWM) informed by the Work Knowledge Graph (WKG) enables for generating and optimising workflows tailored to complex Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) use cases, focusing on cost reduction and quality enhancement whilst adhering to established industry processes and operational constraints.

Opus workflows are dynamic as they intelligently self-optimise every day. Measurable results include 50% lower costs, 80% faster execution, and 10% greater accuracy from day one. Continuous, automatic improvements also drive sustainable excellence.
