ACCL secures temporary stay to avoid delisting from contractor register
An appeal hearing is set for late August.
Aggressive Construction Co. Ltd. has temporarily avoided removal from the general building contractors register after the Court of First Instance granted a stay during its ongoing appeal.
The Buildings Department, in its role as Building Authority, declined to renew the firm’s registration on 22 May and scheduled its removal for 20 June.
The department is now studying the court’s decision and preparing for the appeal hearing scheduled for 26 and 27 August.
The Government took over the Chai Wan Government Complex site from ACCL on 15 June and is working to appoint a new contractor to finish the project.
