ZA Bank debuts AI predictor in football bracket campaign

It analyses teams' past results and historical data.

ZA Bank added an artificial intelligence-powered prediction tool to its "Road to the Champion" football campaign, as entries for the final knockout-stage bracket close on 4 July.

The feature, labelled "Let AI help me," analyses teams' past results and historical data, then generates a complete set of bracket picks — from the Round of 16 through to the champion — for the user.

It is designed to remove the research burden on participants who do not follow football closely, allowing them to submit a full entry in seconds.

The prediction game itself, part of the bank's "Millions Trophy 2026" campaign, rewards anyone who correctly calls the entire knockout bracket with a chance to win outright or share StockBack stock rewards worth $1m.

No data was disclosed on how many entrants have used the AI feature versus manual picks, or on the tool's underlying prediction accuracy.
