Swiss WorldCargo hops into Cathay Pacific and Lufthansa Cargo's business pact

The three will work together on handling shipments between HK and Europe.

Swiss WorldCargo has hopped into Cathay Pacific and Lufthansa Cargo's  joint business agreement to handle shipments between Hong Kong and Europe, and provide their respective customers with more "direct connections, more flexibility and more time saving."

Following its entry, Swiss WorldCargo will now cooperate with the other two airlines r on network planning, as well as on sales, IT and ground handling.

Initially, the airlines will cooperate on traffic from Hong Kong to Zurich and Frankfurt. Later this year, the airlines will include traffic to and from Hong Kong and the rest of Europe.

"Cargo customers will be able to access the entire joint network via the booking systems of all three partners," said the three companies in a joint statement.
