Hong Kong Airlines to distribute 1,000 free economy class tickets

The winners' companions will get $150 off for economy tickets above $1,000.

Hong Kong Airlines will be giving away for free 1,000 economy class tickets on 26 and 27 August as part of the celebration of the addition of new routes to Beijing Daxing, Fukuoka, Phuket, and Nagoya.

In a statement, Hong Kong Airlines said those who want to participate have to register as Fortune Wings Club members on its official website or mobile application.

They may line up at the mega event at Causeway Bay’s Fashion Walk Atrium on 26 and 27 August to get their quota tags which are given on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who secured a quota tag can participate in the “Gacha” game and register for ticked redemption during designated times in the afternoon on the same day.

The companions of the winners can get a $150 discount on economy ticket fare that costs above $1,000.

Aside from the new destinations, the free tickets will also cover other destinations such as Bali, Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul, Okinawa, Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido, Beijing (Capital), Chongqing, Haikou, Sanya, Shanghai (Hongqiao), and Shanghai (Pudong).

Hong Kong Airlines will announce the distribution schedule for the respective destinations via Facebook on 23 August.
