Hong Kong Airlines adds Xi’an to its route
It will open five return flights per week.
Hong Kong Airlines celebrates its inaugural flight to Xi’an on 18 July, with 16 flights per week.
Five return flights will be provided on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Flight HX418 will leave Hong Kong at 9:40 p.m. and land in Xi’an at 1:05 a.m. the next day, all times local. The return flight, HX419, departs Xi’an at 2:30 a.m. and arrives in Hong Kong at 6:00 a.m. the same day.
Kota Kinabalu is the third destination opened in Malaysia by Hong Kong Express, following Penang and Kuala Lumpur (Subang) routes.
The new route is operated by Airbus A320 with in-flight dining and hassle-free baggage policy.

Hong Kong Airlines increased the frequency of several routes to Mainland China to meet passenger demand during peak summer travel season, including the twice daily flights to Hangzhou and Nanjing and four daily flights to Shanghai Pudong.
