HK Express launches flights to Phu Quoc, Vietnam
The new flight route marks the airline’s tenth destination in Southeast Asia.
HK Express Airways launched its new route connecting to Phu Quoc International Airport in Vietnam last 6 December 2024.
The new flight route marks the airline’s tenth destination in Southeast Asia.
“This move aligns with the government’s call for airlines to enhance international connectivity with new destinations, particularly in the Belt and Road countries,” said HK Express CEO Jeanette Mao.
Mao also noted that the government resuming the multiple-entry Individual Visit Scheme for Shenzhen permanent residents and expanding the scheme to Shenzhen residence permit holders will attract more mainland travellers to Hong Kong.
All passport holders—including those with HKSAR and People’s Republic of China passports, can have 30 days of visa-free travel to Phu Quoc.
