HK Express launches direct flights to Japan's Shizuoka airport
This marks the airline’s 10th destination in the country.
HK Express Airways launched its first direct flights to Mount Fuji Shizuoka Airport in Japan, marking the airline’s 10th destination in the country.
Located in central Honshu, Shizuoka is known for its stunning landscapes and cultural charm where travellers can enjoy views of Mount Fuji.
“With the upcoming launch of Sendai next month, we will have a total of 11 destinations in Japan, further solidifying our status as the Hong Kong-based airline with the most Japanese destinations and nearly 170 round trip flights per week,” HK Express CEO Jeanette Mao said.
She also added that the government’s recent visa waiver policy for Japanese travellers, which allows a 30-day stay, will bring an influx of Japanese tourists visiting mainland China.
