HK Express clears new growth runway with Terminal 2 move
Its arriving flights will continue to use Terminal 1.
HK Express Airways has launched departure operations at Hong Kong International Airport’s Terminal 2 as it expects double-digit percentage growth in passenger traffic this year.
The move will provide additional customer handling capacity and support route expansion plans, HK Express CEO Jeanette Mao said.
Mao added that the airline will support Airport Authority Hong Kong’s target of handling over 70 million passenger trips annually.
Customers departing from Terminal 2 will use the upgraded self-service zone at Aisle U, which includes self-service check-in and baggage facilities.
Arriving HK Express flights in Hong Kong will continue to use Terminal 1, the airline said.
