Cathay Pacific's passenger volume rise 26.1% YoY in April

The airline carried 1.74 million passengers.

Cathay Pacific saw a 26.1% YoY uptick in its passenger volume in April, carrying 1.74 million passengers last month. 

Apart from passenger volume, the airline’s revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) and capacity measured in available seat kilometres (ASK) also increased, soaring 27.8% YoY and 36.2 YoY, respectively.

The airline group’s passenger load factor, however, decreased by 5.4 percentage points to 81.6%,

Meanwhile, the airline’s cargo businesses reported positive volume growth, with total cargo carried rising 7.4% YoY to 117,428 tonnes.
