Cathay Pacific sees 15.9% YoY passenger volume rise in August

The airline carried 2,068,979 passengers.

Cathay Pacific saw a 15.9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in passenger volume in August, carrying 2,068,979 passengers.

The airline’s revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) also increased 15.9% YoY, whilst available seat kilometres (ASKs) increased by 19.8% YoY.

On the flip side, the airline’s passenger load factor decreased by 2.9 percentage points to 85.2%.

Meanwhile, the airline's cargo segment reported a positive volume growth of 6.3% YoY, with total cargo carried reaching 124,236 tonnes.
