Cathay Pacific reopens The Bridge lounge at HKIA
It also plans to open new flagship lounges in Hong Kong.
Cathay Pacific has reopened its The Bridge lounge at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), welcoming travellers back to a renewed space featuring a range of new amenities to enhance the pre-flight experience.
The relaunch of The Bridge marks the first stage in Cathay Pacific’s wider lounge enhancement plan in Hong Kong and beyond.
Over the next two years, Cathay Pacific will open flagship lounges in Hong Kong, Beijing, and New York, the airline’s first in the US.
The Bridge, located near Departure Gate 35 at HKIA Terminal 1, will soon debut Cathay Pacific’s first biometric check-in system while keeping traditional options.
The relaunch comes ahead of The Wing, First’s closure on 23 May for renovation. It will reopen in 2026. Upgrades to The Wing, Business will follow.
Meanwhile, The Deck lounge is also being enhanced and will temporarily operate as a first-class lounge during the refurbishment of The Wing.
Customers with lounge access privileges will retain full use of The Pier, First and The Pier, Business.
These developments are part of Cathay Group’s over $100b investment into new aircraft, cabin products, lounges, and digital innovations.
