Cathay Pacific launches direct flights to Munich, Germany

This marks the airline’s second route to Germany.

Cathay Pacific will be launching its four-times-a-week direct flights to Munich, Germany for the first time on 16 June 2025.

This marks the airline’s second route to Germany alongside its daily service to Frankfurt. 

It will also return to Brussels, Belgium on 3 August 2025, aiming to provide travellers with connections between Hong Kong and two of Europe’s major cities.

Both the Munich and Brussels services will be operated using the airline’s Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

With this, Cathay Pacific will be operating up to 93 return passenger flights per week to Europe. This also includes five daily flights to London, daily flights to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Manchester, Milan, Paris and Zurich, and four weekly flights to each of Madrid and Barcelona.

Within 2025, it is projected that the group’s passenger network will reach 100 destinations worldwide.
