Cathay Cargo launches 24/7 booking management tool

Cathay Cargo has announced the launch of Manage Booking, a new tool that gives freight forwarders direct control over booking modifications.
Available 24/7, the platform allows forwarders handle routine changes directly through the platform such as updating of shipper or consignee information, flight and date adjustments, and shipment size modifications.
It also provides a central dashboard with real-time visibility across bookings from different channels, allowing users to track each shipment in one place. Before confirming any amendment, users can see how the proposed change may affect costs, whilst activity tracking and automated email alerts create an audit trail and keep stakeholders updated throughout the process.
More complex requests, however, will still be handled by Cathay Cargo's specialists.
The move follows Cathay Cargo publishing real-time customs-clearance statuses to customers via its EzyCargo platform and ONE Record APIs.
