Former Morgan Stanley Executive Director joins HKEx

Sylvia Hoosen is now HKEx’s Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources.

An announcement by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited said, “Ms Hoosen has extensive human resources experience in large organisations and financial services. Prior to joining HKEx, she was an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley for 14 years, based in Hong Kong and responsible for HR functions related to its asset management, private wealth management and service provider units.”

Ms Hoosen has also been an HR executive at Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong, where she worked for seven years. She is replacing her predecessor in HKEx who has resigned, according to the annnouncement.

The new HR Head will report to the Chief Administrative Officer Joseph Meyer.
