MQDC unveils The Forestias to HK market with SQM

The Forestias will mostly complete in 2024.

Thai developer MQDC has partnered with SQM Global Properties to unveil The Aspen Tree's flagship project, The Forestias, to the Hong Kong market. This development, valued at 125 billion Thai Baht, stands as one of Thailand's most extensive, with completion anticipated in 2024.

Already over 80% finished, The Forestias aims to redefine sustainable living by integrating nature, architecture, and cutting-edge technology across its 64-hectare luxury multi-generation community.

Vithaya Sintharapantorn, Head of Project Marketing at The Aspen Tree The Forestias, said that The Aspen Tree is a prime choice for investors, especially those from Hong Kong seeking potential retirement properties in Thailand.

Sintharapantorn highlighted Thailand's appeal as a top tourist destination now extending into the property sector, especially among foreign investors and retirees. "The Aspen Tree is not just any retirement home; it's a community for healthy living and lifetime care," he stated.

Terence Tung, Director at SQM Global Properties, pointed to The Forestias' strategic location in the Eastern Economic Corridor, noting its proximity to health and wellness facilities, offices, shopping centres, residential areas, and hotel developments.

"Over 56% of the area is dedicated to green spaces, creating a sustainable ecosystem that appeals to investors not only in Hong Kong but globally," Tung remarked.

A critical component of The Forestias is The Aspen Tree, a residential community designed for those aged 50 and above. This project promises a high-quality life for its residents, with homes built on the principles of universal design, allowing people to age in place.

Sintharapantorn elaborated on the four key components offered to residents: lifetime homes, lifetime services, lifetime activities, and a vibrant community living experience among different generations.

Residents of The Aspen Tree can expect daily breakfast, weekly housekeeping, and 24-hour concierge service, ensuring a full hospitality experience. The emphasis on health and wellness is paramount, with activities designed to foster physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being.

"The Aspen Tree in The Forestias is more than a place to live; it's a place where life is lived to its fullest," Sintharapantorn added, stressing the importance of a supportive and happy community environment that enhances the living experience for residents from all walks of life, including those relocating from Hong Kong.
