Govt raises parking fees

11 public car parks will be affected.

The Transport Department will raise parking fees at 11 government public car parks starting 1 June.

This includes car parks in Kennedy Town, Rumsey Street, Star Ferry, City Hall, Tin Hau, Shau Kei Wan, Aberdeen, Sheung Fung Street, Wong Tai Sin, Kwai Fong and Tsuen Wan.

The government took into account private car park charges, public acceptance, and the utilisation of government car parks in adjusting the fees.
