Gov’t opens short-term tenancy bids for 3 brownfield sites

The sites are suitable for open storage, godowns, workshops, and recycling.

The Lands Department is inviting tenders for three government land sites in Kwun Tong, Tuen Mun, and Yuen Long for short-term tenancy by eligible brownfield operators.

The sites are suitable for open storage, godowns, workshops, recovery and recycling, and reprocessing operations, the department said.

Eligible operators must be affected by land resumption and clearance exercises scheduled on or before the fourth quarter of 2029 under relevant government development projects.

The department said operators who were invited to short-term tenancy tenders at least twice after relevant clearance exercises are ineligible.

The tender will close on 9 November.
