Cathay Cargo Terminal kickstarts cashless cargo payments

The cargo terminal partnered with PayCargo for the project.

Cathay Cargo Terminal has tapped PayCargo to offer businesses a digital payment method for import cargo collection.

PayCargo has over 5,000 logistics vendors and over 50,000 registered payers, with most being freight forwarders.

The business-to-business (B2B) ePyament solution complements the Electronic Shipment Release Form (eSRF) process, allowing for seamless transactions.

Cathay Cargo also allows freight forwarders to set up direct credit facilities within the terminal.

Cathay Cargo Terminal already has cashless cargo import payments via Alipay, WeChatPay and UnionPay at its intermodal facility in Dongguan, China.
