PCCW Global ties up with Vietnam telco

An MoU has been signed.

PCCW Global, an operating division of HKT, and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form a strategic cooperation to explore business opportunities in Southeast Asia and beyond.

An announcement said the agreement serves to accelerate the development of bilateral cooperation between the two companies. They will collaborate in the delivery of a wide range of services, including Internet, satellite, voice, data, fixed-line, mobile, multimedia, and IT solutions.

Mr. Stephen Pang, PCCW Global's Senior Vice President of Asia and CIS, said, "It helps us deliver a seamless ICT service for our clients in Vietnam, and allows us to fully support VNPT as its customers enter into new markets."
