The Housing Authority has drawn the priority order for applications under the Sale of Home Ownership Scheme (HOS).
The authority’s Subsidised Housing Committee Chairman, Cleresa Wong, officiated at the ballot drawing ceremony.
The results are available on the HOS webpage.
Around 106,000 applications for HOS flats were received, meaning they were oversubscribed by about 14 times.
Moreover, about 50,000 of the applications came from families, and around 56,000 were from one-person households.
This sale round includes 7,132 units in five new HOS developments at Kai Tak, Yau Tong, Kwun Tong, Tung Chung, and Tuen Mun.
The flats have saleable areas ranging from about 186 to 510 sq ft, with larger flats ranging from around 442 to 510 sq ft, making up a quarter of the total number of flats.
Rescinded HOS flats from developments sold in 2020, 2022, and 2023, and a new batch of recovered Tenants Purchase Scheme flats are also included for sale this year.
It is estimated that eligible applicants will receive notifications in batches about flat selection from the second quarter of 2025.
