Two residential sites fetched a whopping $3.7643b

In a report, the Lands Department announced that the tenders for two residential sites in Tseung Kwan O and on Lantau Island have been awarded on 50-year land grants for a total premium of $3.7643 billion.

Tseung Kwan O Town Lot No.126 was awarded to Precise Treasure Limited (parent company: Wheelock Properties) for $3.6708 billion.

It has a site area of 27,421 square metres and is designated for non-industrial purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 47,713 and 79,521 sq m, of which no less than 39,486 sq m and no more than 65,810 are for private residential purposes. At least 875 flats must be built.

Lot No.750 in Demarcation District No.332 on Lantau Island was awarded to Dawn Rider Limited (parent company: John Swire & Sons (HK)) for $93.5 million.

It has a site area of 1,438.2 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 346 and 575.2 sq m.
