Shau Kei Wan Inland Lot goes up for public tender
Private residential, non-industrial use allowed on 1,349 sqm. site.
Shau Kei Wan Inland Lot No. 860, located at Shau Kei Wan Main Street East, Hong Kong, and included in the 2025–26 Land Sale List, will be disposed of by public tender, the Lands Department (LandsD) announced in a press release on 9 January 2026.
The tender invitation will open on 16 January and close on 13 February.
The site covers approximately 1,349.2 square metres (sqm) and is designated for non-industrial purposes, excluding godown, hotel, and petrol filling station uses.
It has a minimum gross floor area (GFA) of 7,286 sqm and a maximum GFA of 12,142 sqm for private residential purposes. The maximum GFA for non-industrial purposes is calculated in accordance with the relevant special conditions set out in the Conditions of Sale.
Both the total GFA and that for non-industrial purposes exclude the GFA of Government Accommodation, which will comprise a sub-base of the district elderly community centre to be constructed by the purchaser under the Conditions of Sale.
Land sale documents, including the Form of Tender, Tender Notice, Conditions of Sale, and the sale plan, will be available for download from the LandsD website from 16 January.
The documents will also be available for public inspection from the same date until the close of the tender.
Hard copies of the sale plan may be purchased at the Survey and Mapping Office of the LandsD from the start of the tender until its closing.
The particulars of the tender will be gazetted on 16 January.
