Property sales down 24.5% MoM in October
Year-on-year, sales dropped 33.9%.
The government recorded 2,938 sale and purchase agreements for registration in October.
The figure translated to a 24.5% decrease compared with September and a 33.9% drop from October 2022.
The total consideration for sale and purchase agreements fell 2.5% MoM and 11.5% YoY from September to $29b.
Of the agreements, 2,123 were for residential units. The number of sold residential units was down 25.8% from September and 32.6% lower from October 2022.
The total consideration for residential units was $24.5b, a 7.5% increase compared with September but a decline of 9.9% from October 2022.
Land register searches totalled 365,510 last month.
