
Private flat supply estimate drops by 2,000 units
Only 105,000 units are expected in the next three to four years.
The government is expecting a private flat supply of 105,000 units in the next three to four years.
This is 2,000 units lower than the previous estimate.
There were 28,000 unsold units in completed projects at the end of March.
In addition, 65,000 units were under construction, excluding those pre-sold by developers, and 12,000 units from disposed sites where construction may start anytime.
The number of flats under construction in Q1 was 3,600, whilst 5,500 units were completed during the period.
