Lands Department issues 3 pre-sale consents

The Lands Department issued three pre-sale consents in the first quarter this year, for two residential developments and one commercial. The former involves 1,193 units in Tuen Mun and Yuen Long due for completion in September.

At the end of March the department had 20 applications for pre-sale consent for uncompleted residential units and four for uncompleted commercial developments pending approval.

The residential applications involved 8,620 units. Among them, three developments involving 248 units will be completed this year, 13 applications involving 5,999 units will be completed next year, and two applications involving 2,259 units will be completed in 2013.

The developers are to update the expected completion dates of the remaining two developments involving 114 units, according to a Lands Department report.

The department is also processing two applications for consent to assign involving 2,784 residential units and one for a commercial development.
