Housing Bureau awards over $360m light housing contracts
Kai Tak and Olympic Avenue projects due for Q3 intake.
The Housing Bureau said it has awarded two operation and management contracts for Light Public Housing projects at Olympic Avenue, Kai Tak Phase 2A and Phase 2B, with tender sums of about $200.6m and $159.7m, according to a press release.
The contracts were awarded to Creative Property Services Consultants Limited and Pok Oi Hospital Joint Venture, according to the bureau.
The projects will provide a total of about 7,750 units, comprising 4,500 units for Phase 2A and 3,250 units for Phase 2B, and are expected to be completed with tenant intake in the third quarter of this year, the bureau said.
The bureau said the Phase 1 Light Public Housing project began taking in tenants in December last year, and its 3,000 units are expected to be fully occupied in the coming one to two weeks.
