Housing Authority puts up 7,132 flats for sale

Around 70 rescinded and 350 recovered Tenants Purchase Scheme flats will also be for sale.

The Housing Authority is putting 7,132 Home Ownership (HOS) flats up for sale in five new developments.

It includes Kai Ying Court in Kai Tak, Ko Hei Court in Yau Tong, On Pak Court in Kwun Tong, Yu Hing Court in Tung Chung and Siu Wu Court in Tuen Mun.

Around 70 rescinded flats from different locations, along with 350 recovered Tenants Purchase Scheme flats will also be available for resale. The average flat prices will be at a 30% discount from the assessed market values. 

Green and White Form applicants should not have owned any domestic property in Hong Kong during the 24 months leading up to the application deadline.

Balloting is expected by the fourth quarter of this year, whilst flat selection will start from the second quarter of next year.

Applications will be accepted from 3 to 23 October.
