HK anticipates 112k private flats in next 3-4 years

It is up by 3,000 units from the previous estimate.

The projected supply of private flats in Hong Kong for the next three to four years has increased to 112,000 units, up by 3,000 units from the previous estimate, according to the Housing Bureau.

At the end of March, there were 21,000 unsold units in completed projects. 

Additionally, 72,000 units are currently under construction, excluding those pre-sold by developers, and 19,000 units are expected to start construction soon from disposed sites.

In the first quarter, 4,300 units were under construction and 5,000 units were completed.
