Here's a wrap-up of property sales over the weekend

Another 225 units just got sold.

According to Nomura, over the past weekend, the strong sentiment continued in the primary market. Developers sold another 225 units, up 2% w-w. SHKP’s The Wing II in TKO continued to enjoy good take up with another 110 units sold, taking the cumulative total sales to around 400 units (51% of entire 780 units).

Similarly, HLD/NWD’s The Reach in Yuen Long also enjoyed steady sales with 93 units sold this past weekend. Since its launch on the eve of the BSD at end-October 2012, cumulative sales have now reached 954 units (37% of total 2,580 units).

Here's more from Nomura:

While new developments like The Wings II and The Reach benefitted from the recent surge in buying interest, this did not extend to the re-launch of Hang Lung Properties AquaMarine in Cheung Sha Wan.

Of the 10 high-floor units that were released last week, only three units were sold with an average selling price of HKD11,057psf (GFA) or HKD14,634psf (SFA).

Separately, sales of car park spaces showed no sign of slowing. HKR sold 95% of 468 parking spaces at Coastal Skyline in Tung Chung within two days. The prices ranged from HKD580,000 - 680,000 each.
