
HA opens application for White Form Secondary Market Scheme 2024
This year’s quota increases by 1,500 to 6,000.
The Housing Authority will open applications for the White Form Secondary Market Scheme 2024 (WSM 2024) from 8 a.m. on 7 March, until 7 p.m. on 26 March.
This year, the scheme will see a significant increase in its quota, rising by 1,500 to a total of 6,000, the authority confirmed.
The additional quota will be allocated under the Youth Scheme (WSM) for applicants under the age of 40, with 1,350 quotas set aside for young family applicants and 150 for young one-person applicants.
The remaining 4,500 quotas include 4,050 for family applicants and 450 for one-person applicants.
Regarding eligibility, the WSM 2024 will follow the criteria set for the Sale of Home Ownership Scheme Flats 2024, including income and asset limits as well as restrictions on domestic property ownership in Hong Kong.
The limits are set at $60,000 per month and $1.23m in assets for family applicants, while one-person applicants must meet the limits of $30,000 per month and $615,000 in assets.
Balloting is set for Q2 2024, with approval letters issued in Q3 or Q4.
