China Vanke reports up to $13.15b net loss in H1
Basic loss per share ranged from $0.92 to $1.11.
China Vanke Co., Ltd. reported an estimated net loss ranging from $10.96b (RMB10b) to $13.15b (RMB12b) for the first half of 2025.
According to a bourse filing, the loss was attributed to the decline in real estate development projects’ settlements, low gross profit margin, and the additional provisions for asset impairment.
The basic loss per share ranged from $0.92 (RMB0.8433) to $1.11 (RMB1.0120).
“The Company deeply apologises for the performance loss and will continue to make every effort to promote business improvement,” Vanke said in the statement.
Despite the financial hit, the company delivered over 45,000 housing units during the period and reported sales revenue of $75.72b (RMB69.11b).
The company also said that it has recovered $6.3b (RMB5.75b) through stock revitalisation and acquired three new projects through project revitalisation.
