Acording to a release, Colliers International has been appointed as the sole agent to offer a mega house development site in Sai Kung  for sale by public tender. 

The Property’s prime location and picturesque environment have attracted active responses from local and mainland China developers. Upon the interested parties’ request for more time to review the legal terms involved, the tender is extended to close at 5pm, 18 July 2013 (Thursday).

Willis Mak, Senior Director of Investment Services at Colliers International Hong Kong, says that the Property receives overwhelming responses by a number of developers. Some are mainland developers who bid land in Hong Kong for the first time, and would like to seize this opportunity with prosperous location in order to capture the benefits derived from the Kowloon East business hubs.

The Property is a rare site available for mega house development in Sai Kung. Sitting next to Hiram’s Highway and close to the roundabout of Nam Pin Wai Road, it enjoys good accessibility.

Also, it takes a mere 10-minute drive to the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and the business hub in Kwun Tong. Other features of the Property include the seaview over Pak Sha Wan as well as the soothing greenery. In view of the Property’s high potential, its future development is expected to attract the residential demand by multinational companies’ senior staff who have their offices in Kowloon East.

Besides, two international schools in Sai Kung and Kowloon Bay are anticipated to complete at the end of 2013. Hong Kong Academy, located between Mei Yuen Street and Wai Man Road in Sai Kung, will add extra school places for a total of 284 primary school students and 350 secondary school students.
