7 pre-sale consents for residential developments issued in 3Q12

According to a release, seven pre-sale consents for residential developments involving a total of 5,652 uncompleted units were issued in the third quarter, the Lands Department said.

One of the seven developments is located on Grampian Road, Kowloon, comprising 28 units. It is due for completion in December.

Another five developments in Tai Po, Tuen Mun, Prince Edward Road West in Kowloon, Ma On Shan and Yuen Long, comprising a total of 4,842 units, will be completed next year.

The remaining development in Tseung Kwan O, comprising 782 units, will be completed in 2014.

The consent to assign involved 164 residential units in a development in Discovery Bay.

At the end of September, 20 applications for pre-sale consent for uncompleted residential developments involving 8,705 units and five applications for pre-sale consent for uncompleted commercial developments were being processed. About 75% of these units are to be completed in 2014, while the rest will be completed later this year or next year.

An application for consent to assign involving 51 residential units is being processed.
