105,000 private flats to be available in next 3-4 years

The figure is 2,000 less than the previous estimate.

The number of private flats supply expected in the next three to four years is 105,000, 2,000 less than the Housing Bureau’s previous estimate.

As of the end of June, there are 68,000 units under construction, excluding those pre-sold by developers, and 19,000 units to be developed from disposed sites.

In Q2, 6,000 units were undergoing construction, whilst 800 were completed.

Completing the 105,000 pipeline are the 17,000 unsold units by the end of June.
