Site construction in Sai Wan deferred

Disagreements put the construction to halt.

In the interest of maintaining the prevailing harmony within society, Simon Lo, through his spokesperson announced on Wednesday that the construction on the Sai Wan, Sai Kung site was suspended starting Thursday last week.

“In the past few days, construction work on a plot of land in Sai Wan, Sai Kung has caused the expression of differing opinions in the community and considerable speculation reported in the media, which have created unnecessary disagreements,” Lo’s spokesperson said.

“We will commence discussions with the related departments and organizations in the hope to find a solution that is acceptable by various parties.”
