Embry Holdings appoints Tam Chong Cheong as company secretary
He has taken over starting 19 October.
In an HKEx release, Embry Holdings announced the following effective 19 October:
Mr. Chau Kwok Ming has resigned as the company secretary of the Company for personal reasons and ceased to be its authorized representative and an agent to accept on behalf of the Companyservice of process and any notices required to be served on the Company in Hong Kong.
Mr. Tam Chong Cheong, Aaron has been appointed as the company secretary and authorized representative of the Company and an agent to accept on behalf of the Company service of process and any notices required to be served on the Company in Hong Kong.
Mr. Chau confirmed that there is no disagreement with the Board, and there is no matter in relation to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.
Mr. Tam hold a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Hong Kong, a Postgraduate Certificate in Law
from University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Law degree from Peking University of China.
He was admitted as solicitor of High Court in 1997, is a member of the Law Society of Hong Kong and holds a current practising certificate.
Mr. Tam has over 15 years of experience as in-house legal counsel of issuers listed on exchanges of Hong Kong and/or the United States, in which around 2 years as company secretary of a listed issuer in Hong Kong.
Mr. Tam satisfies the relevant requirements set out in Rule 3.28 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange. The Board wishes to take this opportunity to express gratitude to Mr. Chau for his contributions to the Company during the term of his services and also extends a warm welcome to Mr. Tam on his new appointment.
