Gov’t names Benjamin Chan as new Commissioner of Inland Revenue

Chan will succeed Tam Tai-pang.

The government has named Deputy Commissioner of Inland Revenue Benjamin Chan as the new Commissioner of Inland Revenue.

Chan will be succeeding Tam Tai-pang following the latter’s retirement on 8 October. 

“Chan has knowledge and experience in tax administration and possesses management and leadership skills,” Ingrid Yeung, secretary for the Civil Service, said.
