Raffles Family Office launches foundation to streamline philanthropic efforts
The launch coincides with the firm’s Singapore expansion announcement.
Raffles Family Office (RFO) has launched the RFO Foundation to consolidate its philanthropic activities into a single structure focused on education, talent development, and knowledge exchange.
In a press release, the multi-family office announced the foundation alongside the opening of its new Singapore office. The foundation brings together the firm’s existing charitable initiatives, whilst support longer-term community programmes.
Chi Man Kwan, Group Chief Executive Officer, said the foundation formalises the firm’s existing work and gives it a clearer structure, adding that the firm will continue to develop its community engagement as it grows.
The firm has already established education-related initiatives in Hong Kong, including a 10-year scholarship with the University of Hong Kong Business School launched in 2022, through which it supports students at the university.
In Singapore, the Lee Wei Song Music Academy has participated in early programmes under the foundation. One initiative, The Resonance Initiative, supports a “learning-creation-giving back” model that encourages young artists to produce music linked to social causes.
RFO said further programmes will be announced.
