Lenovo Hong Kong, Cyberport sign MoU on startup growth

The partnership aims to support startups from proof-of-concept through to international market expansion.

Lenovo Hong Kong has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cyberport to accelerate the growth of local startups and bolster Hong Kong’s innovation and technology sector.

The partnership aims to support startups from proof-of-concept through to international market expansion, merging Lenovo’s global technology strengths with Cyberport’s proven startup incubation ecosystem.

Under the MoU, Lenovo and Cyberport will collaborate across three key areas: ecosystem development and startup enablement, strategic marketing and ecosystem engagement, and innovation showcase and digital art collaboration.

Lenovo will provide market expansion support, join Cyberport’s Investors Network to fund promising ventures, and help startups establish operations locally and globally.

The two parties will also co-organise training on cutting-edge technologies such as AI, cybersecurity, EdTech, HealthTech, and PropTech, whilst Lenovo sets up an Innovation Center at Cyberport to display its latest digital solutions.
