Labour dep’t unveils more than 1,600 vacancies in key industries

The Labour Department will be presenting over 1,600 vacancies across four major sectors in a single-day recruitment drive aimed at connecting job seekers with immediate hiring opportunities.

Full-time roles account for approximately 80% of available positions, with most vacancies carrying monthly salaries between $12,000 and $22,000.

Around 96% of the roles require a Secondary Seven qualification or below, and 38% of openings are open to candidates without prior relevant work experience.

The April 21 fair runs from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with last entry at 5 p.m., at 1/F, MacPherson Stadium, 38 Nelson Street, Mong Kok.
