HSBC, FreightAmigo launch Ship Now, Pay Later in Hong Kong

Users will be able to utilise the digital logistics platform and choose extended payment terms.

FreightAmigo, a digital supply chain finance eMarketplace, has partnered with HSBC to introduce a groundbreaking receivables finance solution called "Ship Now, Pay Later”.

HSBC's B2B point-of-sale financing banking solution will enable FreightAmigo's SMEs and corporate clients to utilise the digital logistics platform and choose extended payment terms without any extra charges.

This offering, available from early June this year, aims to benefit participants in international trade, particularly those in FinTech and FreightTech sectors, creating a mutually beneficial outcome for all involved.

The service is designed to enhance cash flow and provide liquidity to businesses that have faced challenges in obtaining them in the past, said FreightAmigo.

Through complete digitization of the shipment booking and payment process, businesses can save time and achieve efficient outcomes.

This service allows businesses, including SMEs, to address cash flow gaps and meet their financial demands. Additionally, it offers operational flexibility by enabling upfront payments throughout the supply chain, leading to shorter product delivery cycles and the ability to seize new market opportunities.
