Hong Kong credit card receivables down 0.6% in Q3

The delinquent and rescheduled ratio was 0.4% in end-September.

Credit card lending receivables decreased by 0.6% to HK$150.3b in Q3 2024, according to a survey by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).

This extends the 0.2% decline recorded in Q2.

The combined delinquent and rescheduled ratio was 0.4% at end-September, rising slightly from the 0.39% recorded in end-June.

The quarterly charge-off ratio remained unchanged at 0.58%.
