HK ranks as 3rd best city for private landlords

Average monthly rent of $3,435.95 was recorded in the country.

A study by Compare the Market revealed that Hong Kong was the third-best market for private landlords to earn from their tenants.

A monthly average of $26,810.94 (US$ 3,435.95) private rent was observed from the city.

Leading this list were two cities, namely, San Francisco and New York in the US, with average monthly rents at $39,290.47 (US$ 5,035.40) and $36,732.15 (US$ 4,707.54), respectively.

Compare the Market also found that private landlords earn 48% more compared to Airbnb hosts.
