Gov’t records 17 lease modifications, four land exchanges

The land transactions realised a total land premium of about $2.06b.

The Lands Department has reported 17 lease modifications and four land exchanges in the Land Registry in the first quarter.

Of the land transactions, nine were located on Hong Kong Island, five in Kowloon, and seven in the New Territories.

Another two lots were granted by private treaty during the period.

One was granted for developing an innovation and technology park and the talent accommodation in the Loop, whilst the other was for an electricity substation in Yuen Long.

The land transactions realised a total land premium of about $2.06b.
