Citi names Aveline San as CEO of Hong Kong and Macau

San joined Citi in April 2019.

Citi has appointed Aveline San as the new chief executive officer for Hong Kong and Macau.

San succeeds Angel Ng who was appointed Asia Head of Citi Global Wealth in April.

Apart from her new role, San is also the chief executive of Citibank NA, Hong Kong Branch. She reports to Tim Monger, head of the North & East Asia Cluster.

Prior to joining Citi in April 2019, San spent 14 years in UBS, serving as APAC group regional head of compliance and operational risk control, and general counsel of wealth management for North Asia.

She has 25 years of experience in banking.
