Chubb taps Sun Life Singapore ex-CEO as Hong Kong president

She is tasked with the integration of Cigna’s assets into Chubb Hong Kong.

Chubb has named Belinda Au as president of Chubb Life Hong Kong, subject to regulatory approval.

Au previously served as the chief executive officer of the Singapore branch of Sun Life Financial.

In her new role, Au will have executive operating responsibility for the company's life insurance business in Hong Kong SAR. She is also tasked with the integration of the long term insurance business in Hong Kong SAR, which Chubb acquired from Cigna on 1 July.

Au will also take on broader responsibilities within the North Asia region, to be announced in due course, according to Chubb. She reports to Bryce Johns, senior vice president, Chubb Group, and current president of Chubb Life.
